For more than 20 years, I worked in retail operations. I’ve always been particular about organization. I notice when something is out of place, and I naturally look for ways to make things work better.
I learned firsthand how much time and effort manual processes can take. From manually listing inventory and tracking discrepancies to managing customers, teams, and daily operations, repetitive work can slow everything down and make mistakes harder to find.
Later, I discovered automation and saw how the right systems could connect tasks that businesses often manage separately.
I also experienced what happens when you're trying to serve customers while handling marketing, inquiries, and everything else at the same time.
Sometimes, a customer isn't answered on time, not because you don't care, but because there's simply too much to manage.
